The White Oak-New Riverkeeper Alliance depends largely on the generosity of people like you to be able to accomplish our work. Every donation received is an investment in the future of the White Oak and New Rivers to help keep them healthy, clean and safe for future generations. If you want your children and their children to enjoy the healthy natural environment we take for granted today, please make a difference by contributing to our success.

Your donation makes a real difference, no matter how big or small. Whether you can support our ongoing community clean-up efforts, our water monitoring fees or our central administrative needs, your money directly translates into making a tangible difference in the White Oak and New Rivers. The following are examples of how your contribution can make a difference:

  • $14 funds one month of our Internet outreach (web-site, Meetup group, etc.)
  • $50 funds marketing materials to distribute at one community outreach program
  • $100 funds lab fees for water sampling to monitor the health of the Rivers for one month
  • $250 funds one river clean-up (supplies)
  • $500 funds the supplies for one Operation Medicine Drop take back location
  • $1000 funds our office overhead for a year!

We are committed to using every cent of your donation toward making our mission a reality. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which means that your donation is tax-deductible to the maximum allowed by law.

Thanks to past support, we have been able to help make the rivers cleaner and healthier. Over 500,000 pills and medications have been taken back as part of Operation Medicine Drop. We helped oppose a bill to allow ONWASA to inject treated wastewater into our drinking aquifers. We, along with all of our volunteers have removed several tons of trash out of the White Oak and New Rivers. Despite these accomplishments, there is still much work to be done.

Generous donors and volunteers, like you, empower the White Oak-New Riverkeeper Alliance to create lasting change in the health of the rivers. We appreciate your investment in our commitment to clean, healthy rivers for future generations.

You can get involved and make donations through our Meetup group. If you’re not already a member of Meetup, registration is free, and it’s a great way to connect with others in your area who enjoy some of the same things you enjoy.
